This course was designed specifically to focus on how COMBINAL products and packages have been specifically put together in order to enable spas to offer these two incredible services in such a way that is safe, effective and above all, highly profitable.
Although estheticians going through their initial school training learn about the basics of how to perform eyelash and eyebrow tinting procedures, here in North America we’ve found that there is a huge lack of education surrounding the knowledge of the eye itself, how the hair around the eye differs from the hair on the rest of the human body, and how that all affects what procedures we perform on the eye specifically. Not only that but eyelash perming isn’t even mentioned at all as a service that can be offered to clients.
Colouring of the hair is an in-depth scientific course that is offered to all those who aspire to become stylists and colourists in hair salons, however is not even touched upon in esthetic school where colouring of the eyelash hair is being taught. As you’ll see from the above list of topics covered, this theory is taught in this special, two-day course where those in attendance will not only learn HOW to do the procedures, but WHY they should be doing the procedures.
Another topic not discussed is the infections of the body that specifically target and affect the eye and surrounding skin of the eye. Too many estheticians do not know what to look for and when NOT to perform the services, therefore we will also teach, in depth, how to conduct a proper initial assessment of each client as well as how to perform a proper patch test to ensure no allergic reaction will happen to the client during or after the procedure is completed.
